Jaimie Carswell ...graduated with a degree in Theatre and Film from the University of Kansas in 1994 and went on to take a MA in Playwriting Studies at the University of Birmingham in the UK as well as an MPhil in Irish Theatre from Trinity College Dublin. He has also trained in physical theatre techniques at the Internationale Ecole de Theatre Jacques Lecoq in Paris. Before founding Mangiare Jaimie taught playwriting at Towson University in Towson, Maryland and worked as the Managing Director of the Catalyst Theatre Company of Baltimore, Maryland. He has also worked as the Development Manager for the Hawk's Well Theatre and Blue Raincoat Theatre Company in Ireland. An award-winning playwright, Jaimie's work has been produced internationally and translated into Slovenian. |
