...for the 2007 Kinsale Arts Week Mangiare Theatre Company was commissioned to present an ongoing, interactive series of street theatre interludes and spectacles featuring a mis-matched, dysfunctional family of European tourists. Performing in the bouffon style and drawing on a range of acrobatic and clown backgrounds, La Familie European wound their way through the streets of Kinsale looking for Irish pubs, catching buses, hailing taxis, trying to read maps, and engaging everyone they meet in their own special brand of madcap humour...
