Part cabaret, part clown, part jazz band, part street theatre; Pussy & Thierry! is a show that follows the musical careers of the desperately co-dependent married couple Pussy (Amy Howard, soprano sax) and Thierry (Jaimie Carswell, double bass). One time stars of the boardwalk and cruise ship circuit, Pussy and Thierry have since fallen self-consciously from the dizzying heights of their early fame and are now forced to eke out a living in the streets, squares, and tiny cafes of Paris. With equal portions of affection and loathing, Pussy & Thierry present a unique comic mixture of snobbery, regret, self-hatred, exasperation, tenderness, desperation, and music.

Amy Howard studied saxophone at the Conservatoire de Southend-on-Sea and has played with the cabaret act Shiraz and the Cabernet Sauvignons as well as working as a soloist and performer with Giffords Circus. Jaimie Carswell has played bass with Steve Wickham, Christy Moore, Cadenza, and the political protest rock band Halliburton(s) among others. Both actors trained in theatre at the Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris.
